Also, I heard Jones refer to NFLe roster exemptions during the draft-day
press conference . . . does anyone have a CURRENT list of Dallas' NFLe
allocations? I heard that some players from the original list did not go.

Last, can we get a reporter to go out to Valley Ranch and get us some REAL
info and some HARD FACTS? Maybe one of you guys who lives in the area can
get an interview with the Joneses?

Huggins played at Alabama St. at TE, catching 42/587 in his senior year.
Was not in the NFL last year, and was not drafted. PFW had him as the #49
TE in 1999 draft. 4.00 grade is almost as low as you can get.

Russ was waived by NE this time last year. Played in the World League.
Undrafted at 6' 225 (light and lighter!). Played for NE 1997, 1998, and
1999 for a total of 8 games, no stats.

The roster limit is 80, but with eight NFL Europe exemptions we can go up to
88 right now. We have 85, and I think they expect to re-sign Kevin Mathis and
maybe Charlie Williams pretty soon. As far as I know, unsigned players (RFAs,
EFAs and draft choices) don't count against the roster limit.

Scottish Claymores -- Duane Hawthorne, Deon Mitchell

Berlin Thunder -- Joe Phipps, Greg Wilkins

Rhein Fire -- Chris Akins, Chris Brymer, Ryan Neufeld, Jeff Ogden (Rhein
plays Amsterdam on TV today at noon Central. Check your local listings for
channel.)

Ben Fricke, Kendrick Gholston and Michael Black were pulled back after being
allocated, maybe since we didn't have a whole lot of depth at C, DE and RB and
didn't want to risk major injuries to them.
