How Fsps Sim Physics X For Fsx Enhances Your Flight Simulation Experience
If you are a flight simulator enthusiast, you may be looking for ways to make your virtual flying more realistic and immersive. One of the addons that can help you achieve this is Fsps Sim Physics X For Fsx, a multi-function application that brings missing functionality and extra features to your FSX aircraft.

In this article, we will review some of the main features of Fsps Sim Physics X For Fsx and how they can improve your flight simulation experience.

Ice Accumulation
One of the features that Fsps Sim Physics X For Fsx implements is ice accumulation on your aircraft. This means that depending on the weather conditions, your aircraft can get covered with ice, which can affect its performance and handling. You will no longer see a single "ICE DETECTED" message on your display, but you will have to deal with the consequences of ice buildup on your wings, fuselage, and control surfaces.

Ice accumulation can produce drag, extra weight, and reduced lift on your aircraft, as well as alter the pilot's inputs on the control surfaces to simulate the controls deficiency. You will have to use de-icing systems or change altitude to avoid icing conditions. This feature adds a new challenge and realism to your flight simulation.

Brakes System
Another feature that Fsps Sim Physics X For Fsx improves is the brakes system of your aircraft. Your brakes now get hotter if you use them, depending on your aircraft mass, the brake's disc surface, and speed while braking. This affects their performance: the hotter they are, the less effective they are. Locking up your wheels will result in less friction as in reality, and you can cool down your brakes by leaving your wheels hanging out for a bit while airborne.

All this is combined with enhanced sound effects for normal braking and wheels lock-up, sounds that will play in volume related to the aircraft speed. You will also see smoke effects when your brakes overheat. This feature makes your takeoff and landing more realistic and challenging.

Runway Friction
Fsps Sim Physics X For Fsx also implements corrections to aircraft performance for accelerating into the runway for takeoff and for deceleration when landing (or aborting takeoff). It now takes into account brake's temperature, runway surface type, and runway condition in terms of water-snow or ice contamination. Friction changes as any of these factors change, and this makes every takeoff and landing a unique experience.

Runway contamination and the changed friction on the runway is now directly related to the precipitation rate. Until now, all kinds of raining or snowing were the same in FSX. You will also see water or snow spray effects when rolling on a wet or snowy runway. This feature adds more variety and realism to your flight simulation.

Anti-Skid System
Fsps Sim Physics X For Fsx also implements an anti-skid system for all aircrafts. This means that you can prevent your wheels from locking up when braking hard, which can cause skidding and loss of control. The anti-skid system will modulate the brake pressure to keep the wheels rotating at a safe speed. This feature is especially useful when landing on slippery runways or when aborting takeoff.

This feature also works with other addons that emulate advanced braking systems, such as autobrake or reverse thrust. You will no longer be jealous of expensive aircraft addons that have this feature built-in.

Runway Bumping Effect
Fsps Sim Physics X For Fsx also integrates the previously released Runway Bumping Effect addon, with perfected logic and expanded simulation of producing sound and visual effects when passing over the runway centreline lights. You will feel and hear every bump as you roll down the runway, not only with the nose wheel but with all three sets of wheels.

This feature is not just a plain sound played in bigger volume as you accelerate. It calculates in centimetre precision the centreline lights and each wheel's position, measuring the distance covered, to give you a perfectly simulated effect passing over each light on the runway. This feature adds more immersion and feedback to your flight simulation.
