Stats from 1969 won't make me gloat.

Please Lord my team isn't the power it used to be.

I asked humbly that the duration of not going to the Championship or Super Bowl to be less than 28 years.

I won't live to see another Patriots Title (7)

Most i might add..

You seem prone to erase the past only
when you think of the Cowboys prior to
1996 or thereabouts & when you think
of your Patriots prior to 2001.

1969 your Patriots were called the Boston
Patriots & were 4-10-0, 3rd in AFL East Div-
ision. Right now, after a 2 touchdown loss
to the Bills, 24-10, your Patriots are called
the New England Patriots & are 4th (last
place) in AFC East Division at 6-6-0.

1969 was their 10th of 41 straight years
of not winning an NFL championship, with
only 5 1st place finishes & just 3 visits to
top-of-the league championship games (1
AFL in '63, 2 NFL in '85 & '96, all losses).

With the arrival of Tom Brady things turned
around for the Patriots after he was made
the starter in his 2nd year. Before then, in
41 years, the Patriots had only 10 playoff
seasons, & lost most (10 of 17) of their
playoff games.

Your gloating opportunity began in 2001,
not sure where it is now since you have
such high standards & seem to consider
all teams not winning a Super Bowl as
failures.

By the way, after their loss last night, the
Patriots moved down from 3rd to 4th on
the all-time regular season winning%, so
even though they had 18 years with 6
Super Bowl wins from 2001 to 2018, not
looking good for your team these days ...

... as a return to the failures of their first
41 years appears to be starting again,
what with you seeming to consider any
non-Super Bowl winning season a fail-
ure (maybe, maybe not, maybe it's only
the Cowboys you think of as a failure
when they don't win a Super Bowl).
