Updated Roster: Browns cut 4...

Tough couple days for the non-roster players. Dwyte Smiley (DB,
Youngstown State) failed his physical and was sent packing before he was
ever signed to a contract, and LB Joey Mayo was kicked out of the rookie
minicamp (and any chance of his making the team was squashed) after he
hit QB Kevin Thompson on a non-contact drill (he had been warned that it
would happen when he did the same thing the previous day). Apparently
Palmer went ballistic (reading the story, I could just hear Lou Gossett
Jr. from Officer and a Gentleman "Mayo-NAISSE").
With the drafting of Aaron Shea and the impressive minicamp
performance of Kyle Allamon, the Browns cut James Dearth. Dearth was
really drafted last year as much for his long snapping abilities as his
TE skills, and Ryan Kuehl made that unnecesary, filling in very well for
injured Jason Kyle.
In somewhat of a surprise move, the Browns cut PK Travis Forney.
His only shot has been at the rookie minicamp, so I wonder what he did
which got him cut so quickly. He has the distance which was notably
lacking with Dawson last year, and I'm sure the Browns want someone to
challenge Dawson in camp. He must have been either terrible or did
something very bad to piss off the coaching staff to get cut this
early...

Yep. It's not too hard. The initial setup took some time,
but updates are pretty quick. I started it last year when we started
actually building the team...
