maybe 5 people checking it, one a ravens fan.
but just when i think the death of art modell has the potential to end the
curse, I predict we shall see those pesky Ratbirds hoisting the Lombardi
Trophy with their little "Art" patches on their jerseys, just like 12 years
ago (sans the art patches).
In the meantime, those Brownies went to the playoffs once. Went 10-6 once
but didn't make the playoffs. Other than that, a nice string of 4- or 5-
and something for those 12 years. An added bonus was seeing their former GQ
dressing coach visit the superbowl at least half of those 12 years.
Normally, we think of a hex ending with something bad happening to the other
party, but maybe Modell getting his final super bowl on his tribute year
ends the cycle. I mean what else could happen except more of the same? Is
Modell going to rise from the grave as a Zombie and eat Bernie Kosar's
family?
