Season ending musings...
-The Chiefs are a juggernaut.
-It was a *really* good season by any standard. Who would've thought they'd make it to the conference championship game when the season started? Not me. Good progress in all facets of the team. End of season bonus: Looks like to me that Knox's hands are finally starting to soften a bit...they can use a pass catching TE.
-That being said...this game had all the stank of Playoff Past Marv, the inability to adjust at the half when they're not blowing out the sisters of the poor. What do you do when you're getting blitzed up the wazoo? You add an extra blocker, you go play action, QB draws, extend plays, wear down the other D, keep Mahomes and Hill off the field...there was none of that. Poor plan by the coaching staff.

Agree with all of the above. And Beasley had a fractured fibula, Brown was
still recovering from a high ankle sprain and Davis had a bad ankle...and
they kept Kenny Stills on the bench.

But, given the deep ball game plan stalling? I don't think Stills would've helped anyway. Man coverage was too good on the Chiefs' side that night. No shame in that. They should've switched to short passes.
And the running game is an embarrassment for a team with now SB aspirations.
