INDIANAPOLIS (Rueters) -- Even
more spooky things are happening to
the New England Patriots.
<
After their very first practice here
this morning for the Super Bowl, just
about every player was unable to
remove his helmet.
<
An investigation revealed that
dabs of Crazy Glue had been poured
into all of their helmets just before the
players put them on.
<
It was determined that all of their
hair would have to be removed to get
the helmets off -- which means the
Patriots will all look like Yul Brynner
during the singing of The Star-Spangled
Banner before their big game against
the New York Giants.
<
The mystery remains unsolved
but security personnel are investigating
a report that a very old man, with a
Brooklynese accent and wearing a blue
and white jacket, had purchased
a few large large tubes of Crazy Glue
at the Walmart near the stadium earlier
this morning.
