Well, this year is sliding by, so wanna throw this out there now. I'm
going to make a thread later this week, where maybe we could chat on what
to do after the 2023 season, when everything goes kabloeey. (I love that
this group is still pac-10 btw, hah). NGL, I'm pretty bummed that we're
losing the Pac, and it affects this group and FSGP pretty severely. (duh)
I dunno, I like doing this every year, not sure where ya all are at; I
got a couple ideas, but a group consensus might be the way to go. Be
forewarned.
On that note, in weeks like this, where everyone kinda picks similarly,
the way to win is to take a chance, pick a game nobody else does - and
get it right. This week, that game was ASU-WSU, and the person who picked
ASU:
Eric. Eric went 6-0. 260 points for a score of 21.67 . His high score was
38 for Zona-OSU. (one Arizona PAT away from perfect) This win takes Eric
to 3rd place on the season. Nice work Eric, to honor your achievement, I
went from first to last this week. Out of respect.

I knew I did terrible this last week. My prognostication skills have been diminishing each year. Must have something to do with birthdays. Yet here I am as 2nd in season standings. Slowly creeping up. Who knew.
BTW looking forward to the Pac existence thread. Yes I am bummed about it too.

I've been thinking about this, and I came up with this idea: we continue on next year as usual (but for obvious reasons minus the Championship Game), but otherwise we will use the same format and scoring system and continue to make predictions on all the same twelve Pac-12 teams that we do now. We can still have rivalry games but we might need to switch a couple of rivalry matchups (Washington vs. Oregon, Washington State vs. Oregon State, instead of the traditional Washington vs. Washington State, Oregon vs. Oregon State).

What this means is that — overall — we'll have more games per week to make our predictions since the twelve teams will be playing head-to-head less often each week.

We're on the same page here, I was thinking similarly. We'll get more
group chat about it hopefully this week, if life/work lets me come up for
air. But this is in the ballapark of what I was thinking.
Hopefully make the Rivalries work, the Rivalry thing is perhaps the most
upsetting part of the conference implosion - HOW CAN THERE BE NO OREGON-
OREGON ST?!?!?! Lame.
But we'll chat.
