OK, well, looks like this game is over, so I'll just type '21' in
here for USC's score, and that should be it. I mean there's no way they'd
actually....whoa, OK, maybe not.
Interestingly, the only people really affected by the RUTSing was
Plaidmoon and Andrew, who fell a few places, but other than that, the TD
did not affect FSGP very much if at all. As to how it affected the rivalry,
internet message boards and a more than a few marriages in the LA area
remains to be seen.
With only 3 games left, it looks like we're gonna have a new FSGP
champion this year; but before we crown a new champ, we can strike one up
for the old guard this week. That's right, this week's winner was also the
first ever FSGP champ:
Bob. Bob went 4-0, and racked up 159 points for a score of 22.71. His
high score was 32 for UA-ASU, and this win takes Bob to 6th place on the
season. Nice work Bob, you've been here before, you know what to do.

Sean, thanks so much for running this. It looks like a lot of work and
it's really appreciated because it's fun!! How does the rivalry week
work? We've had four of the five so far. I understand that we'll add
the UO-OSU game and make that a week's competition but does that mean
those games are double counted? Or is it for bragging rights only?

I was going to take a knee until Nuweasel decided to extend the FSGP
competition. Gotta love those Bruins for being pissed at the Trojans for
their own coach's idiotic decision to extend the game when the outcome was
already settled. The look on Nuweasel's face when the Trojans scored in
response to his time out is etched in my memory. I'm gonna take RN in the
limo to Tommy's for a midnight burger with all the fixings.

Don't forget there is a game Thursday night between a couple of Orygun
teams.

Yup. The whininess of the Bruins (and some of their fans) was far more
embarassing than the results of the game... If you're gonna keep
playing, expect the other team to do so as well...

Eric Ramon <ramon...@gmail.com> laid this on me on 29 Nov 2009 in
alt.sports.college.pac-10:

Sure thing, it's fun for me too.
Rivalry games are scored the same and count the same as regular
intra-conference games, except that they are mandatory and can not be
skipped. We crown whoever picks the 5 rivalry games the best as Rivalry
Week(s) champ, but those games are scored in the season FSGP as normal.
Each individual week that includes a rivalry game is still scored as well.
Bragging rights are what FSGP is all about.

Well, that and the worldwide fame.
