You know, the result of the Ore-Col game didn't surprise me too much.
What surprised me was all the hubub around the pregame speeches and such.
Colorado's BS before the game didn't bug me too much, just some shit
talking, talk away; ya just better back it up. You do look pretty stupid
doing that, then getting your ass handed to you through your facemask.
When I heard Lanning was talking some smack pregame, I was like "oooooh,
I wanna hear this." I looked it up. Me : ".... that's it? .... really?
This is news?" Maybe I'm just old school.
Now that we are in shorter weeks, with mostly intra-conference games, one
perfect score can easily propel someone to the top. As was the case this
week. Yup, this week's winner:
Warren. Warren went 5-1, 220 points for a score of 18.33 . His high score
was the aforementioned perfecto 50 for Arizona-Stanford, and this win
takes Warren to 3rd place on the season. Congrats Warren, but don't let
it get to your head. WE PLAY FOR WINS NOT CLICKS. (again, I can't believe
that was controversial to some people. Whatever).
