I've got the limo all tricked out for the season winner!
After I took Nuweasel to Tommie's for a midnight burger you could tell we
both ate chili. I had the upholstery redone at a local shop with newspaper
batting. They threw in a set of spinners, a plastic Jesus on the dash, and
a bouncing head Chihuahua at no extra charge. Oh, and the smell is not too
bad. When the ocean breeze blows you can hardly smell anything.
I've got Kat winning by 7/1000ths of a point. That would qualify as
"close" and all its variants (CLOSE, CLOOSSSSE and such). That's if I
understand the scoring correctly, which I probably don't!
again, if I understand this correctly....I had Oregon winning 38-30
over Oregon State. The final was 37-33 so that was a pretty good
score. So the Ducks are down until LaMichael James goes 52 yards for a
TD and then the Ducks try for a 2 point conversion and fail, later
adding a field goal.
I think if the Ducks had gone for a regular PAT and made it and then
everything else had occurred as it did, that the one point would have
given me the win over Kat. Also if I hadn't yuk-yukked my way through
the first week, predicting 60-0 wins by LSU and USC.....
This whole contest was a blast! I'll wait for the official tally (I've
got Kat at 17.440 and me at 17.433 but that's unofficial) before
"conceding". :-) But a 2nd place would be pretty cool too.
Will we do bowl games?

It is considered taboo to reveal anything about the final scores
until everyone is seated at the banquet; we have no idea who won until
then. Everything else is just wild speculation and rumors.
BUT - it was VERY VERY close. VERY close.

We did a Bowel FSGP once, but it kinda fizzled. I think once everyone
got into holiday time/shopping/vacations/etc, it just kinda lost
steam/interest.
I dunno, if enough people were interested, it's not hard to do a bowl
FSGP, actually rather easy. Maybe pick them all, Pac Bowl games count
double. If enough people wanted to do it, I would.
But first, let me get back to the Master Spreadsheet (capitlaized!) -
this was a nail biter, don't want to have to go to the review booth to put
another second on the clock.

I'd be interested if others are...
Yeah, I'm in. I find prognosticating non-conference and unusual
matchup games such as bowl games to be easier and more fun too.

I was really brilliant but I got two of three wrong. A little
perfection covers a lot of stupidity.
I took some chances because I wanted to finish in the top half for the
year.... Humble aspirations:)
