- poised in the pocket
- rocket arm
- accurate, hitting receivers in stride
- passing under pressure, throws, gets drilled by Warren Sapp then tells
him to bring more next time since the pass was completed for 40 yards
despite the hit
- etc
The Chargers look like they'll be just fine.
Big deal. Play somebody.

Granted, we played a weak team, but Rivers looked as good as you could hope
for his first start.

Yeah, nice job of handing the ball to Mr. Tomlinson and getting the
fuck out of his way.

It would have been nice, especially there in the second half when the
Raiders adjusted their D and piled people in the box to see some play
action passes etc. Or just some passing in general. In the end a win
was had and I will take that. Can we play turtle like that against a
good team and win? Probably not, but I will take this one.
Yep, that was pretty much all he did all night. However, I did like
how he hit Parker on that deep pattern just before getting drilled by
Sapp. It showed poise.
There will be plenty of opportunities for Rivers to show what he is
made of.
Warren Sapp...I wonder if he regrets not signing with the Bengals a
couple of years ago? The difference in money was something like 4 yrs
for $16M v. 7 for $36M, but I'm not sure how that is guaranteed and
easilly attainable.
Jon
hopefully for your sake, he's not a GlasS Man like the Be*rs QB...
why are you here?

What should he have done? Throw many INT's like Plumber? Get knocked out
like Green, or get sacked time after time like Brooks? I think of all the
QBs in the AFC West - I'll take his preformance over the others.

Play like your couch is on fire!
iirc the gauranteed money was fairly similar...maybe a million or so
off. And in the nfl guaranteed money is all that matters......

I gave them a WR. They owe me a Porsche. Or at least a spittoon in
