The only reason the BE isn't breaking apart is because nobody wants
their teams. You honestly think that any BE team would turn down such
an invite??

The closest thing they have to a major team, West Virginia, would leap
at the chance to join either the Big Ten or Atlantic Coast. They would
not even take a full day to think about whether or not to accept.

Well, _I_ am convinced. Everybody else?

I don't give a flying fuck about the BE, but the idea that its members
would turn down invitations to join the B10 is hillarious.

LOL, and true.

the arrogance of US policy was the notion that one could
develop the industrial capacity of allies and the rest of the
world and promote imports without damaging the nation's
industrial base. - Judith Stein
What other reason is there? The BE doesn't exactly have a deep
football tradition as a conference.

I'm trying to think of a single reason a Big East team wouldn't
immediately accept an offer from the Big 10 ... can't think of one. And
i'm pretty smart, you know.

Rutgers has openly expressed interest since the conference added Penn
State. They have even sent promotional materials to the B10 offices
stating as such. Pitt has also expressed interest previously.

Yeah, I'm sure basketball really matters to the B10. That's why they
added Nebraska.

LOL....you're delusional.

What current BE member has won a national championship in in the last
30 years?

UConn.
Dewd, that's like saying "other than orgasm, why would anyone RSFCK?"
Cheers.
I'm a Marquette fan. I know all about how delusional BE fans about
the place of basketball in today's college sports.
