However, the man also owns Megaplex Theaters in Utah. Those theatres are
left open on Sundays and he constantly plays Rated-R movies. You might
remember Miller as the one who pulled Brokeback Mountain from theaters
because of the homosexual content. However, if you live in Utah, you can go
see "Sex in the City" and "Strangers" this Sunday at his theaters.
That's kind of phony and hypocritical to me. His theaters are a cash cow and
Sundays are not huge money makers in Utah except for the jack Mormons.
I have friends who are Mormon and am capable of having civilized debate with
them all of the time. To their credit, most of them follow the basic
concepts of their religion. I just thought it was phony of Miller to
grandstand like that.
Who cares?
Not Mormons. They fill the stands up every Sunday during regular season.
