Flip's not on Portland's List?

There's been some speculation that Flip would be offered Dunleavy's
job when Duleavy was fired from Portland. Well, Duleavy's been fired
but Flip's name is absent from the list that the Oregonian has put
together:
the two that are being postioned as "front-runners" are:
John Lucas (former head coach)
Clyde Drexler (former Trailblazer & former head coach with University
of Houston )
Other "prospects" include:
Rick Carlisle ( was an assistant at Indiana from 1997-2000).
Dwane Casey ( assistant at Seattle for the last eight seasons)
Don Chaney (assistant with the Houston Rockets)
Jim Cleamons (assistant with the Los Angeles Lakers)
Johnny Davis (assistant in Orlando)
Larry Drew (an assistant for nine seasons with a number of teams)
Lionel Hollins (coach of the Las Vegas Silver Bandits of the
International Basketball League and interim coach for Vancouver
Grizzlies during the 1999-2000 season)
Dennis Johnson (assistant with the Clippers)
Magic Johnson
