4. DALLAS vs. 5. MINNESOTA

What to look for: Points, points, points. Forget the playoffs being
low-scoring affairs. In four games this season (they split), the
Timberwolves and Mavs have scored an average of 111.6 points each. Minnesota
has been able to run with Dallas, but in a five game series, it's doubtful
they'll be able to match the Mavs' firepower.

Key player: Steve Nash. Who on the Timberwolves' roster can keep up with
Nash? Chauncey Billups? Uh, no. Nash should be able to run rings around the
Minnesota defense, getting points for himself and setting up open looks for
his teammates.

The Pick: Dallas, 3-2. ...

Dallas 3-2? That's only if all the planets aligned. Dallas 3-0! That's
only because Nash is sick and that friggin Nowiki German has a bad ankle.
