Not to mention that Smilin' Sammy can't hurt the Wolves draw
with all the Gophers fans in town.
I know I'll be rooting for Sammy to do well with the Wolves.

You mean to say that you don't think Jackson was a good player?
I think the Wolves would have loved to keep Bobby on the roster
if they could've afforded him this season.
One of the things I think pro sports lacks is more players with
ties to the hometown of the team.
SS
Won't matter anyway, they only signed him to provide a healthy body for
scrimmaging in practices since so many players are gimped up.
He has no chance of making the roster.

Sure about that? If Sam does well in practices and pre-season,
he could have a shot at making the roster, couldn't he?
The Wolves could certainly use all the help they can get with
their guard situation, IMO.
SS
If he can play D, make passes to KG, and hit the 3, he'll make the
team. Heck, if he can just hit the 3 constantly, he'll make the team.

And I was delighted to hear that Sam Jacobson is back in MN.
Hope he does well.
You're right, SS, it'll be nice to have a hometown guy here
again.
Go Sam Show us the 3!
AnnE
What Defensive skills? have you ever seen Jacobson guard anybody at the
college level, much less the pros? Sam does have some minor potential but
it certainly isn't for his defense.
