Weirdest game that I have ever seen (lakers at the RG of course)

'Sheed standing next to Ref Bernie after he tossed out Pippen, standing
in the middle of the floor where 'Sheed had been sent to 'protect' him.
....when the ref asked what Blazer fans were throwing at him 'Sheed
answered, "Dumb Ass Walton dolls". They flew a lot better too... =)

Bill Walton was calling that game too.

They should replay that on NBA's greatest games.

This is one of the few times that I agree with you.

It was the wrong thing for the Staples crowd to do, but it was a bit
funny to see all those foam fingers floating down to the court.

It sort of reinforces the image of LA fans being soft, though. Even
when we're being thuggish, we somehow paradoxically look soft.

I don't like that. I reminds me of the classless Kings fans throwing

Remember when Blazer fans threw water bottles after Riley benched the
Laker starters? So Portland went out and won by like 40+ points or
something?

I think that was in 1991. Of course that year (and pretty much every
other year) the Lakers got the last laugh.

They should. Would have to be on ESPN classic because the NBA would not
want it on their channel...
There were some calls I had never even seen before. Like backing up a
couple of possessions and starting over... the last (meaningless) play
of the game they gave Damon a block on the Fisher 3 point attempt...try
the 5-10 guy getting that on the way up...

Oh LA has by far the worst one, it was outside of the arena...talk about
throwing stuff...part of the city on fire, throwing everything loose at
the cops and NG... and the game having to leave town. Even role reversal
for the blazers. ;-)

Dunleavy was the coach in '91, wasn't he? Damn, that game today and
all it's weirdness has screwed my head up. What a topper to a great
day.

Thanks Los Angelas fans (the ones at the Stapler). Now I know what it
feels like to boo Santa, ya losers!
