"It was my dog and it [expletive]-near bit somebody's nose off," McGrady
said. "I feel terrible about that. It's a vicious dog, but I didn't think he
had it in him. It's unfortunate and whatever has to be done, it will be
taken care of."
Chamberlin already has had plastic surgery to repair some of the damage to
his face, but according to his attorney, he will be needing more. He also
has incurred considerable debts since the attack.
"We tried to work out an amicable resolution before we filed suit, but
apparently Tracy, or his people, were not agreeable," said Eric Faddis,
Chamberlin's attorney. "Tracy needs to step up the plate and take care of
Fred."
McGrady said his dog, named Mac, was not euthanized after the attack.
According to Faddis, Chamberlin was not the first person the dog had bitten.
Chamberlin was attacked on the second floor of the mansion after climbing a
flight of stairs. When Mac jumped him, Chamberlin fell backward down 11
stairs.
"We filed suit so a jury could decide what's fair," Faddis said. "Fred is
definitely going to need more plastic surgery, and we've got to be sure he
has the resources to pay for it."
I can't make any sense of this. The dog is vicious and has bitten
people before. What didn't T-Mac think the dog had in him?
