Farmar probably needs a change of scenery. Somehow the Lakers need to
find a player that can create for the bigs, who seem to get most of
their opportunities from offensive rebounds and broken plays. Or a
guy or two that can spread the floor, that the opposition must honor.
Right now, they just double team w/o a second thought. Sasha is
clearly a bust, and Farmar isn't much better. When Luke gets back,
hopefully he hasn't lost his shooting touch. We also need the
subtleties that he brings to the system.

Hmm, wonder how Kevin knows our game plan. Mike Bresnahan, who is the Times
beat writer and game reporter has only ever speculated about game plans.
This guy never ceases to amaze me.

As for Jordan; suck it up and play better or STFU. Is this player ever going
to mature?

Last year the word was Phil had Farmar meditating. If eer there was a
time to re-start that practice it's now, Jordan.

From sitting right by the bench in some arenas, and thus hearing it
right from the coaches' and players' mouths.

Given the Farmar anecdote, last night was clearly one of those games.
You can tell by his twitter feed which games he is right there hearing
it all.

Not that switching everything on the perimeter against Phoenix is some
grand revelation, that's been the game plan against them for several
years now, at least since Phil returned.

Possibly, but certainly not necessarily, true. You could overhear one of the
coaches say, "Kobe should have switched that", and it may not be a part of
the actual game plan. That could be a referecnce to a fundamental practise
that has nothing to do with the team's game plan for that particular game
against Phoenix. OTOH, maybe Kevin heard one of the coaches say "our game
plan calls for Kobe to switch that", but I doubt he overheard that (or
anything else for that matter), which would have given him our game plan
that night.

I'm voting for his simply asking one of the players (the suddenly loquacious
L.O., for example) or possibly one of the coaches.
