OT Any good college F'Ball teams this year?

Alabama, Texas, no exciting teams this year. Pac 10 is a total wash
out. I had high hopes for Oregon. Not even old reliable USC is any
good this year.

I think college football is on the downhill. If you get any good
freshmen recruits, they're gone in a year and you have to start
over again. It's tough for college football and basketball coaches
to put a great team together for any duration.

Much more so in basketball, and yet every year the final four is
usually exciting. Football players don't usually leave after one year.

You're talking about football, right?
This year many of the best players stuck around for more college ball
instead of going pro: Tim Tebow, Taylor Mays, and Sam Bradford.

They can't leave after one year unless they've been out of high school
for three. So redshirt sophomores, redshirt freshman who also had an
injury redshirt, etc.

I suppose we may be a tad biased as we are West Coasters, but the
PAC-10 seems to consistently have 3 or 4 quality teams every year.
Unfortunately this is generally more a curse than a blessing as they
beat each other up & lose out on the Bullshit College Scam system due
to its ridiculous algorithms & convoluted formulae that invariably
favor teams that pad their schedules with patsies & play in weak
conferences. But I could just be a bitter SOB too. : )
