Truly sickening.

I know he is a very good player, but come on.

And of course the Lakers are giving them reasons to do that, by not
playing well.

All i know is that i'm glad the Cavs decided not to have him post down
low anymore since the 1st quarter. He makes Ron look so weak.

LeBron is only having a so-so game by his standards, but his team is
lighting it up today. This is as good a game as Shaq has played in
weeks. And then there's Mo Williams and Moon, among others.

Lakers have been so-so this decade for Christmas games.

Last season was a notable exception to that.

Yeah. When the Lakers lose these Christmas games, it's nearly never a
case wherein they play well, but just get outclassed by a much better
team. Usually, they play these Christmas games like they'd rather
have had the day off.

Today's game has been one of those games.

Are you serious? Non-Laker / Kobe fans have been putting up with that
shit for years. How many more times are they gonna show Magic
interviewing Kobe? Today was the *5th time* that I've seen it, and one
of those times was during halftime of MNF this past Monday!

Yeah, but a bad sign. It is one thing to come out flat against the
Thunder but today makes 2 games in a row that they didn't come to
play. If they come out flat on Sat too then it is time to worry.

You could tell in the 2nd quarter that they were going to lose. Jump
shot after jump shot and often without a single pass - just dribble
over the half court line and launch a shot. Meanwhile the Cavs ran
their offense and got a lot of good looks and layups.

When was Kobe hyped as much as Lebron?
When was even any NBA player hyped as much Lebron?

Did you count the names that they gave Lebron before, during and after
the game?
Please.

Dude, the only thing Kobe's got on him is rings. Lebron is a beast.

That's how all national announcers are, they jock the team in the lead
like there is no tomorrow. When it's a blowout it's even worse,
because they have to be entertaining to a national audience.

And, the Lakers got their lunch handed to them.

Yeah, they should have interview Lebron, again, while it is a Lakers
home game.

Are you guys done hating and willing to look at this from a neutral
position?

It is a Lakers home game, and they air, several times, Lebron
commercials, NBA cares about Shaq and then another Lebron commercial.
The broadcast resumes and then they air a series of Lebron plays, dunks,
passes and shots.

So far, they have called him (in this broadcast and previously):

The chosen one
King James (what pathetic nick name for someone who has yet to see the
NBA finals)
The ultimate finisher
The best in the game
The strongest to ever play the game
The most athletic to ever play the game (courtesy of Jeff Van Gundy)
Bron Brom
King of Ohio
King of Akron
LBJ
The LeBrons

Probably several others that I have missed.

When was Kobe or any other player hyped this much?
Care to answer with proof?
Please feel free, "Ron" and "zcar...@yahoo.com" to educate us all.

If you say so.
Kobe can take over games, a proven clutch, while Lebron, despite the
hype has to win one ring so far.

He is a good young athletic player, but certainly not the best in the
game.

Come on now, Kobe is better and i would take him over Lebron, but
Lebron is a beast. Lebron was deferring to his teammates tonight.
Think what would've happened had he posted on Artest more. Artest
would've probably fouled out by halftime.

I never said that he wasn't a beast or not a very good player or not
athletic, ..etc.
I said that I am tired of all this hype and promotion of him.

>Lebron was deferring to his teammates tonight.

And they delivered, while Kobe's teammates, ....words are not enough to
explain my frustration.

Artest is not the smartest out there, but when he plays under control,
he can place a strangling hold on Lebron.
He did it when he was in Indiana.
