Youngest play in NBA history to score 24,000 points. If he could shoot
better he would really be something.

Yeah, I figure he'll be traded to New Orleans by the deadline for Paul,
West and their next 23 first round picks. Yeah.

That's some game alright. What was the half by half breakdown? I knew
Memphis wasn't a very good defensive club but this is rediculous.

Kobe is not going anywhere. He is a Laker for his entire career.

In terms of sports stuff Kobe is an interesting person. Maybe Michael
Jordan or Tiger Woods or somebody else has become the first sports star
celebrity billionaire. But Kobe is doing it the hard way without ever going
to college or none of that.

We needs more Kobe and Dwayne and LeBron all up in here.

In the broad terms the American economy is the biggest in the world and
sports and celebrities are a big part of the economy and the best should get
paid all up in here.

Tiger Woods - billionaire
Oprah - multi billionaire
Michael - don't even ask
Jennifer Lopez - working on it
Mariah Carey - most likely there

Beyonce/J multi

Don't want to see no more Mike Tyson made 279 million dollars and he is
broke stuff.

Shit gets real and folks who entertain folks ought to get paid and get to
keep some of it up in here.

Sad story out of the NFL players union said that they did a study and showed
that like 70% of the former NFL players were in financial struggles within
three years of being on all out of the NFL.

You may or may not already know this but all of the stuff we call up in here
sports and TV is packaged up and sold all over the world. The people all
over the world be watching all of this American TV and stuff.

So they get the main star or stars so sign off on a contract for a couple
bucks and then the big wigs behind the scenes sell it to the rest of the
world for hundreds of billions.

I do not really know all that much about big business up in here but I
humbly propose the Bill Cosby or Oprah Winfrey or somebody like that be in
charge of sales so that the brothers and sisters who provide the great
entertainment and sports get paid all up in here for their contribution.

The First Lady of the President of the United States is allowed to have one
cause. When Nancy Reagan was the First Lady her cause was to get better
china service in the dining room

It would not offend my sensibilties if Mrs. President Obama made it her
cause to see that all of the sports and entertainment revenues that were
generated by people went moreso to the people who generated them.

If you had never been to Turkey you may think that Turkey is this big old
historical and cultural place with a Turkish Culture. Wrong. They like on
American pop culture in spite of all their museums and historical sites up
in there. And you can say the same thing about 200 other nations and
islands and regions all up in this world.

For about fifty or sixty years the middle-aged or old fat balding Jewish guy
made most of the money off of Jackie Robinson or Lena Horne or whoever.
That is okay. That is history and that is the way things just had to be
back then.

But this is not back then, this is now.

The guy or gal who gets the people to buy the tickets or watch the show
should be the guy or gal who gets paid.

The middleman who gets the show put together and bouncing off of the
satellites into everywhere in the world should get paid maybe like 4% for
their expertise but the Serena Williams or whoever should get paid 96%.

It is only fair.
