I want him off the team. Trade him, release him, I do not give a shit.
I had hoped he'd work his way into the rotation based on his shooting
ability but that's not working out. He's had a year to get with the
program and solve his confidence issues.

Mostly, I just watched the replay of the NCAA game between the Zags
and the Bruins and I don't want that freaking crybaby anywhere near
our boys. It's that simple for me.

Crying on the floor?

Give me a freaking break.

I remember Kobe crying on the floor after the spurs series in 2003. Cut
him too, we will take him. =)

heh...

Maybe it was the look on Morrison's face. Just like my son used to do
when you'd say no to him when he was 4. That whiney, sniveling,
squinty-eyed petulant, "Wah!". ;-)

Was pretty pathetic.
You would not believe the campaign to try to get KP to draft him.
Canzano leading the way...a "draft the stache" website...
There are a lot of zag fans in portland but geesh...I did not know who
was good, do not follow college ball much, but I knew enough not to
want Morrison...never fear KP worked his magic on the Paxson, Ainge and
McHale and got LMA and Roy...

I did figure Morrison would put up good numbers on a bad team at least.
He makes the Kwame pick look really good.

Just flatout not athletic. He got away with it up to and including the
college level but he's been exposed in the NBA. I don't think he'd be
any further along even if he hadn't injured the knee.

Gotta be more than that, its not like Bird was gonna win any dunk contests

Comparing Morrison to Bird, in anything, is insane. Welcome to the
Monkeyhouse. ;-)

(thank you Kurt)

Our group discussion on Morrison prior to that draft is found here:

Laurel was optimistic, PeterL compared him to Larry Bird (but then
back tracked).

Brian Tung and brink compared him to Nowitzki.

Blazerfandan was the real Morrison apologist.

I think I was trying to convince myself since I figured he was going to
the blazers...
Earlier in the blazer group I was less optimistic..

I get the same impression. I think like many/most ncaa leading scorers
he will be a NBA bust...
