Nyjer Morgan and Middle reliever Sean Burnett.
Nyjer is .278 (2nd best OF on our team) with 18 SB
Burnett has appeared in 38 games and has a 3.02 ERA.

It seems to me to be merely getting rid of Lasto with the bonus of dumping
Hanrahan for PR purposes. I doubt the new pitcher will be any better, and
we've seen no-hit gloves in the OF before.
Morgan is a great clubhouse guy, though. Maybe they should just televise
the great times playing cards and such with the happy group of guys....

I didn't think being sent down was going to change his attitude for the
positive, and it didn't.
I do expect Hanrahan to respond better, without the nooses that the FO
seemed to think would be a good motivator early in the season, and Manny
making the calls.

Lastings said he didn't follow the Nats or listen to the coaches since
he had to look out for himself.

That would be a good guess. Bad cop strategy didn't work on the
hardheaded Mr. Milledge.

You know, this is a classic case of bringing up kids too soon, without
them having to earn it in the minors and appreciating the chance.
