I know I should give it a rest, but how does one hit a sac fly to FLop?

"Hanley Ramirez hit sacrifice fly to second, Andino scored."

I guess the thrown out at home was on the 3B coach, and hustling for a
double might be actually hustling...... and he did go 3-4 with 2 RBI.......

TRADE HIM WHILE HE'S HOT!!!11

Actually Flop made a wide turn, slowed near the plate, and had no taste for
taking on the catcher. The rare SF4 with him in short right on a popup, was
in the "Amazin" class of plays for the season. Stengel had to chuckle at
that one.

I read he didn't even try to slide and get to the plate....... Sounds
like the guy is shying away from any chance of getting hurt, whether
planting hard to make a throw, or going near runners near the base his job
description requires him to defend.

In the Nats' postgame show, Ray Knight was clearly not amused. He used a
telestrator to show how Lopez ran about 20 feet more than he needed to and
got as close to saying he wasn't doing his job as one can, without actually
saying it.

He also made some sort of comparison to the efforts of Willie Harris,
Belliard, and Lopez... all competing for same spots... and said the ones who
don't flourish get demoted or released. It was obvious who he was thinking
of.

Cool. So Knight isn't glossing it over or ignoring it due to the win. His
baserunning is hugely lacking and his 4 steals are less than Harris (6) and
Dukes (9) with way fewer ABs.
