I have always been a fan of CHurch - Nat could use a LH OF. Both Willingham
and Dukes and Maxwell are RH.

I used to be a fan of his, too, and felt he got screwed around by the
Nats and the Mets. But, he really is a sulky crybaby and I don't think the
Nats need that.

Perfect description of Church. Did you hear that 8 teams are interested
in Jamey Carroll? Church had some serious potential, if he had put a
fraction of the effort Carroll puts in, he would be an all-star.

Agreed on Church's effort...... I can not forget his comment about not
knowing he was competing for a job in ST. Never should have sold Jamey for
$50,000 to the Rockies...

So, the Braves essentially gave away Francoeur? They could have given
him to us, instead of the Mets.
