Well deserved! It is a shame that the Gold Glove award is tarnished by
giving one to Raf Palmeiro at 1st the year that he only played 18 games and
then DH'ed the rest of the season - for me it just cheapens the whole award.

I got worried when they gave another one to Jeter, speaking of
tarnished..........but like you said, they give Gold Gloves to DHs in that
league...
