The Rose Award goes to David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox, who went
four-for-five with five RBI and scored two runs in a 13-5 win over the
Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

The game was tied at 5-5 until Mike Aviles hit a go-ahead home run to
lead off a three-run seventh inning.

They're not the Devil Rays anymore! Just the Rays!

Please stop replying to the filth. All it craves is attention.

Did you know that the case for Pete Rose has been made and it has
failed.

See, now here's a good example of someone who doesn't know when to be
quiet ruining the workings of a perfectly good killfile. Will, get it
through your head, please. Most people have the fool killfiled, and
only see its rantings when people like you thinking they're going to
make a difference pollute the newsgroup by replying to it.

Please stop. I'd rather not killfile you as well as Esquivel.

I see what is happening. I reply to him in a newsgroup that is almost
empty. No one ever starts any real baseball discussions there and I
feel comfortable mocking him and grinding the fact of Pete Rose's
failure to get into the Hall like a rusty nail into his eye. Because
by now even he must know there is no hope. And I sincerely, because I
am a kind person, hope it hurts.

However, I forget to trim the headers so it doesn't go into live
newsgroups. So I will do that after this. If, of course,
rec.sports.baseball ever gets revived to even a small amount of actual
baseball discussion, I will start ignoring him.

Appreciated. As for the discussion in here, sadly I reckon that
Esquivel's non-stop trolling has played a part in the decline of RSB.
