need garrets help

i hope he can help me out guys carlos pena was more starting 1st
baseman. no one available so jumped on garrett for my fantasy. is he a
solid player you think.

He's a homerun threat and that's about it. Won't help you much with
average, and most of his dingers come with nobody on, so his RBI's are
lowered a bit. He does add an occasional steal, however. He's a good
fill-in, but he won't win you a league or anything.

McCutchen would be an excellent fantasy player, and plenty of the starting
pitchers would help with ERA and WHIP. Wins and strikeouts would not work,
however. Capps is serviceable fantasy-wise.
