Here are the latest movements in ATHLETIC players so far 1B Nomar
Garciaparra filed for free agency.
1B Bobby Crosby filed for free agency.
2B Adam Kennedy filed for free agency.
Oakland Athletics traded RHP Jeff Gray, LF Matthew Spencer and RHP Ronny
Morla to Chicago Cubs for Aaron Miles and 3B Jake Fox.
Traded 3b Brett Wallace to Toronto for OF Michael Taylor
DH Jack Cust filed for free agency.
Oakland Athletics released RHP Santiago Casilla.
I like all the moves except I'd like to see them keep Kennedy, but he
wants to start, and there really is no position for him.I won't miss
Crosby or Cust at all.Anyone notice that the team started to score runs
and win later in the season when they started playing minor leaguers
who could actually hit(unlike Crosby,Cust,and Hannahan).Things are
looking up for the team, we added offense without sacrificing the
organizations crown jewels...the best young pitching staff in baseball.
