Two days before their season opener, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees
will play an exhibition game against the Trenton Thunder on April 1 at
Trenton's Waterfront Park. The game will start at 7:05 p.m.

With several players from Trenton's 2007 Eastern League championship
team likely to open the season in Triple-A, the night will start with
a pre-game ceremony to honor the '07 champs.

"This game will give the Thunder fans a great chance to honor so many
of the players that made the 2007 season so memorable," farm director
Mark Newman said in a statement released by the team. "The 2007
Thunder was a special group of very talented men."

Both Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Trenton will open the regular season on
April 3, with SWB at home and Trenton on the road in Binghamton.
