Dubya "has brought fascism to our shores"

The lame-duck says he believes in free speech but doesn't object in
the least as the hecklers are removed, possibly arrested, from the
grounds of Monticello. Sure, they were disrupting his Independence
Day speech but then that's the issue. If freedom of speech is what it
was about, he would have let them continue to heckle him.

But then, as you've all heard so many times before, Dubya is
unquestionably the worst president in history.

I'm sure McDuck could clarify, but there are limits to free speech,
especially with regards to disrupting a public gathering. If they were
arrested, it could be for disturbing the peace, attempting to incite a
riot or whatever.

I agree with you completely. Perhaps you didn't watch the video? As
a heckler repeatedly labeled him with shouts of "War Criminal", Dubya
responded, saying, "We believe in freedom of speech in the United
States of America." I might believe his freedom of speech claim if
that were the issue or if he hadn't so consistently abused the US
Constitution so many times during his administration.

Only an idiot or someone who can't remember Jimmy Carter would say
that. You are surely an idiot if you think shouting down any
politician's speech is okay. It is disturbing the peace. The people
come to see the politician, not some loudmouthed asshole. So how much

Can you read? I never once suggested that it was okay. I am,
however, taking issue with Dubya intoning freedom of speech as the
hecklers were being removed. As far as Jimmy Carter is concerned ...
no one ever accused Carter of throwing the US Constitution in the
toilet.

The current govt believes in free speech,as long as you are in agreement
with them,if not,you are labeled as unpatriotic.
