Awesome for him...playing well for a team 27 games back.

It is possible that he wasn't happy in New York. He might had needed a new start. The sad thing is that we are getting nothing from Ruf. He has hit s 29 OPS+. That is as nothing as you can get. Did Davis annoy the front office and they just dumped him?

Ruf has been pretty brutal, but I don't really understand why they made
that trade. It just seemed they were not getting value of JD Davis who
proved to bea 300+ hitter when healthy with good power. People talked
about how the Mets would benifit from the DH by allowing for JD Davis
and Dominic Smith to play. Smith only proved to be able to hit in one
season, the COVID-19 fake season and half of 2019. So he was a question
mark after bombing last year. He is now in AAA forever. And JD Davis,
who really can hit, was traded with 3 other players for an older less
compentant bat. I just didn't understand this trade.

No - he had a hand injury

Thanks, I do consider it an honor (of sorts)

Geez, one friendly little tweak and over goes your apple cart.
I just thought you would enjoy it. Was hoping all 3 of you would (speaking of trolling).
