It is pretty sad when a team as bad as the Phillies gets into the WS

This is a rough WS to get in to. I don't care about the Astros one way
or the other, and I don't hate Philly. I'll wind up watching some of it
and I'll pick a rooting interest at that time. If Atlanta had been the
NL rep, rooting for Houston would have been a no-brainer.

I didn't see much of game 1live, but just watched the condensed game. Houston clearly should win based on the regular season, but the Phillies seem to think otherwise, and look to be on a mission. This could be a classic battle before it's over. Have to root for Zack Wheeler tonight.

Don't know about you but having Wheeler and Syndergaard pitching in the
WS for someone else pisses me off a little. I said it then they that
should have kept both.

Yeah, and especially Wheeler. They just let him go. With Syndergaard (who wasn't a major contributor to the Phils this year), they at least made a qualifying offer, and at a time when he was coming back from TJ surgery, and had pitched like 2 innings for the whole season. He's still working his way back from that.

Phillies up 7-0 in game 3 as I write this. Hard to believe it's the same team that the Mets took 14 of 19 from this year. Harper is on some kind of tear.

They're red hot. It seems every time Philly has a winning team, it's
comprised of ex-Mets. In these days in sports with every league having
expanded playoffs, it's rare to see the regular season champs win it
all. Houston can always come back and I am hoping for a 6-7 game series.
