They need Matt Halliday because they need to have another true power
hitter. There is something wrong with Wright, and Beltran doesn't
really scare people alone. Matt Halliday is a bonafied 30+ HR power
hitter.
Then they need to get Roy Holladay. To me Santana is the only starter
that the Mets can count on next season. Pelfrey is too inconsistent
and I think after x-amount of years we can write him up as just that,
a talented pitcher that's inconsistent (hello Dave Mlicki). John
Maine is too injure prone and even when healthy he's inconsistent as
well. O. Perez is a sad joke of an excuse for a player. They need
Roy Holladay.
Without the Holladays the Mets are a 3rd place team at best.

I agree 100% Thats why I think the Mets will sign some free agents. They
have no choice, they have to win some fans back. I just hope they spend
wisely.
