Actually, the record is 1-10 (but 9 straight losses). But you're just
beating a dead horse because we've already talked about the Twins'
ineptness in the other threads, and I agreed with you.

It's not easy, but you could blow a 7 game lead in less than a month.
I think a choke of that magnitude might qualify.

Well, yeah, but doing it twice is doubly pathetic.
On August 15, 2006 the Tigers had an 8 1/2 game lead on the Twins; On
September 1st it was 6 games. The Tigers lost the division on the last
day of the season. So blowing a six game lead one year and then
blowing a seven game lead the next time your team is in first place is
pretty pathetic.
That's choking twice in two attempts. And all they needed to do was
win one more teensy-weensy game out of the 30+ remaining on the
schedule, and it need not be a head-to-head game, which, after Tuesday
October 6th, Tigers fans must realize are more important than non head-
to-head games.
