Sell 'em all. Sell Brown, sell Sheff, sell Karros, sell Green. Just
think how many GREAT players that should come out of it? If you get
15-20 hot prospects out of the deals. If 50% panned out, the team would
be GREAT.

Payroll would be gone, hot rookies would abound, and the stigma of the
"Fox" destruction would be gone!

That's the ONLY way. Malone's "writing one check at a time" stacks the
team with so-so, overpaid under-achievers, floating in the Hollywood
sun, burning $100 bills to light their Havanas.

Bring on the KIDs! You heard it here first!

I guess KB & Sheff would want to get out of LA, if contenders would take
them. Sheff and KB must be the two most frustrated Dodger players right
now.

No, actually we heard it first from the Marlins three years ago. Gee Ricky,

50% is a lot. if 15% panned out, the team would be pretty good.

what's the problem with this team?

1) manager. DJ sucks.
2) front office. malone sucks. daly is okay.
3) coaches (pitching, hitting...all suck).
4) fans...all suck. most don't realize that baseball is 9 innings. they
all think it starts in the 3rd and ends with the 7th inning stretch.

take this same group of guys....and swap all of the SF Giants and the
dodger players and i'm sure you'll see dusty and the giants front office
take this team to the world series.

I don't think we should blame Malone this year. He made the off season
moves that Davey wanted. And it's DJ's job to make the most of what he
has and DJ hasn't been successful at it. If Malone truly sucked, Daly
wouldn't want him to return next year.

> 3) coaches (pitching, hitting...all suck).

True. Especially, our pitching coach doesn't seem to like to talk to our
skipper.

You say that as if Daly's opinion is that of God's. Just because Daly says he
wants him back, doesn't mean Malone is doing a good job. If president's/owner's
always kept only the coaches/managers/GM's/presidents who did a good job, you
wouldnt have organizations like the Padres would you?

??? Do you know who you're talking to? He abandoned the Dodgers about
the time that Piazza abandoned the Dodgers. The same day, in fact. At
this point, hundred-loss seasons would thrill him to no end.

Let's put this another way, since you have a hard time grasping your
situation:

How does it feel that your season is over? You won't place 1st in the NL
West and you won't get the Wild Card. You writing out any checks yet??
Are you angry? Sad? Resigned to a once-proud franchise in the dumper?
