If the crowd is over 40,000 the parking can be difficult to get out. If you
get there 75minutes early, you can park somewhere on Academy Road and walk
in.
Games usually sell out just a few days before at most, the seating capacity
is large. It wouldn't hurt to buy Giant tickets early. Promotion games have
a way of selling out early.

That's the biggest problem with Dodger Stadium. It's a big beautiful
ballpark with lots of parking, but it's all inside a big ravine (it used to be
called Chavez Ravine) with only a few entrances/exits. So for big games,
it can take 20 minutes or more to get in or out of the park.
It's worth it to see games there.

If you want good seats, definitely get your tickets at least a couple weeks
in advance. Otherwise you can probably still get tickets, but you'll be up
in the nosebleed deck or the outfield pavilion (where they don't sell beer).
I personally prefer field box seats or infield box seats. The third base
side is better for evening games, so the sun isn't shining in your face as
it goes down.
