The Twins momentum and home field advantage should make for an
interesting game Tuesday night! ;-)

Lucked out? LOL, typical of you Scott. More like the Twins lucked out and
got a so so game out of Grenkie. (awaiting how the Twins were the best
offense he has faced).
Twins are lucky the Tigers offense is flat, that's all. And momentum? That
is something that any real baseball fan knows is a myth.

Yes. Leyland left Verlander in too long again yesterday and they should
have been swept in that series by the ChiSox.

Here's what Zach Greinke said about the Twins after yesterday's game:
"They're the only team I've faced over the years that can actually,
they elevate their game when the pressure is on the line,"
>Twins are lucky the Tigers offense is flat, that's all.
Yes, the Tigers offense has been "flat" for the last few weeks.
That's not luck, that's the typical late season collapse by the Tigers.

We shall see. ;-)

That could be the dumbest line. Should have lost? How? Verlander pitched
a great game and they won. Funny guy you are, typical spin but you are bad
at it.

LOL, what a dumb line. If the Twins do great with pressure, why do they
lay down EVERY year in the playoffs? I know, you hate looking at all the
facts.

Yes, Verlander pitched well until the 8th, when he buckled after being
out there too long and the ChiSox scored 3 runs because of it, and
could have scored more.
Oh well, they won...so see them tomorrow at the dome. Looking forward
to it!

They've won a couple of World Series more recently than the Tigers
have. LOL
umm, 93? I believe the Tigers have been in the WS more recently and won a
clutch series against NY and then Oak who swept Minn that year.
Advantage Detroit in that comparison.
And the Tigers looked like the Keystone Kops comedy act against
St. Louis in the 2006 World Series. I was laughing out loud at the
many Tigers errors and goof ups in that series. It was embarrassing
for Tigers fans (and American League fans in general), but it WAS
pretty damned amusing. ;-)

Not at all. The Twins have been division champs several times over the
last few years (2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006).
Advantage Twins.
When is the last time the Twins made it out of the first round? Or were even
competitive in the first round? '02? When they got smoked in the ALCS. I'll
take one World Series appearance over that.
You can HAVE that one embarrassing appearance. LOL
If that is your highlight for the Tigers over the last couple of
decades, that's just sad.
What are the Twins highlights? Getting smoked in one ALCS and a World Series
that you aren't even old enough to remember?
Umm, no. Twins are never in the playoffs long enough to laugh at. Usually,
3 and out. And they were not clutch last year either. Opps.
Twins did take good advantage when the Tigers sucked though, I will give you
that.
Better to have gotten there and failed instead of your teams just not
getting there. That's sad.
>
I attended both the 87 World Series and the 91 World Series. I
remember them very clearly.
That is pretty sad. With your mentality I would have assumed you were maybe
15 or 16. The fact that you are any older than that... yikes.
At least they have been in the playoffs more often than other ALC
teams over the last several years.
>Twins did take good advantage when the Tigers sucked though, I will give you
>that.
Since the Tigers usually suck (especially in the second half of the
season), I guess that's a good thing. ;-)

Snappy comeback. What's next, the "I'm rubber, you're glue" tactic? ;)
Nope, just pointing out how stunted your growth obviously is.

Because I chide a rival team and it's fans?
What thin skin you have, Collins.
