This two game series was split. Anibal Sanchez pitched very well in
the first game and the Tiger offense was outstanding. Game 2 saw
Shane Green and the Tiger bullpen give up too many runs for the Tiger
offense to overcome. Kyle Ryan was the only bright spot out of the
bullpen.

Tigers begin a 3 game series against the Indians on Friday. Saturday
should see Justin Verlander start. Would like to see Ryan replace
Green as a starter but that probably won't happen.

The woman who is Membership Director at one of the Chambers of
Commerce I belong to is a big Tiger fan. Every year she arranges a
couple outings to the ballpark that get about 60 people. She told me
the other week she got a call about them from the Tigers. She told
them no way was that going to happen considering the way Detroit is
playing. Are you familiar with Liked In?

I'd think Green would have given up any right to a starters spot
considering how dismal his performances have been after his first
three starts.

Right but they kept putting him out there hoping for different results
I guess, unwilling to give a rookie like Ryan a shot. I guess if
Verlander pitches well, Green will be sat in the bullpen.

Doing the same thing the same thing over and over again expecting
different results is the definition of insanity - Einstein

They came to their senses and sent Green to the Mudhens and recalled
Krol.
