KW makes a preemptive strike calling the Sox underacheivers. Now , to
me at least, this Sox team has played exactly as I expected then to
play in April (actually better). So the question is is he just trying
to get in the first lick in the blame game or is he really that poor a
judge of talent ( this is my guess)?
With the talent level that we started the season with (Fields,
Anderson, Wise, Colon,5TH starter by commitee , among others) I picked
them second to last and for awhile wondered if KC might not finish
higher than the Sox. This team has overachieved from my point of view.

Williams is such a fucking joke. So clueless.

Jim

P.S my favorite parts? The part where he says we have all the talent
we need in the bullpen (transilated that means these guys are under
contract and making a ton of money and I won't eat a contract.)

Where he says the the FA's he likes will cost a draft pick and we
don't want to give that up. Why? What great sucess have we had with #1
picks? Transilated .. They cost too many $$$$.
What a maroon

He's trying to deflect the blame from himself. It was obvious he quit
when he gave away Thome for nothing. The players sensed this and they
quit. If he didn't want Thome for next year, that's fine, but why give
him away with a month left for nothing in return.
