Considering that the White Sox have had such a bad year, it does look
as though Jake Peavy is everything that was expected of him. Along
with Gordon Beckham and a few other players, there does appear to be
some hope for next season. I hope KW fills the BIG holes in the BP -
because that's the most serious of this teams problems.

I am equally as concerned about the inconsistent offense. Hitting with
men in scoring position and situational hitting have been a problem
all year.

I agree with you both. Peavey looks good. The bullpen needs work
especially if Jenks is traded as the Sox seem to want to send him &
his salary away. As good a setup man as Thornton is, I'm not sure he
can close on a steady basis.
More consistent hitting is needed along with another left handed bat.
Will Pods be back?
