Even-up Philadelphia vs. Colorado.
Game temps expected to drop into the upper 20s gametime (currently
19F), snow is forecast throughout greater Denver Saturday. What
baseball weather?!?
These seasons are going on much too long! If these series progress to
their full limits, the games will end on November 5th! Yeow! No doubt
that the game will be in need of super Santa style long johns before
too long!
I say....
Lets shorten the season from 162 to 154 or - regular season games and
play a best of nine in the World Series!
5-7-9. 7-7-9?
I believe that baseball season needs to end by mid October - as much
as we fans appreciate healthy baseball. Yet least of all would I ever
want to see a World Series being played at a neutral field - such as
the Superbowl.

My bets are on N.Y.
StL. chances collapsed when the birdy flop.
I doubt that LaRussa can put a torch under these Cardinals' tails long
enough to pull this set out from 0&2. Nonetheless (and with a little
help from Pujols)....
GB Tony, I hope he manages to find a way to win vs. Torre's over-rated
Dodgers.
