Apparently, the Angels have offered Erik Aybar, Joe Saunders, and OF
prospect Peter Bourjos for Roy Halladay. I don't like it. I'd rather do
an Izturis, Santana, and Napoli deal. Is that fair?

I'm against giving up one of our current starters for another starter,
even if it's Roy Halladay. But if we are going to give up a starter,
then I'd rather give up Saunders. Even though on paper Saunders is
younger, he did have surgery to repair his labrum while he was in the
minors. My son had similar surgery in high school, and I'll never
forget what his surgeon told him: "The odometer on your arm just
switched from a Toyota Camry to a Ford Taurus."

This sounds like the same offer during the trading talks of the 2009 season
& owner Artie rejected it because Aybar was on the list. Also I don't like
the idea of giving up Saunders either. Surely there are other players we can
give up for Hallaway...

Sciosia knows much more about his team than I do and he mentioned that
pitching is very important....but how in God's heaven could you consider
TRADING AYBAR???

He is the BEST HITTER on the team! He HIT .312 LAST SEASON!!!!!

No sir, I don't like it one bit dadgummit. You've already lost .296
hitter Figgins!
