WHOA! I read it here first. I'm very surprised; I thought Gardenhire
had it locked.

I haven't read anything else on this except for Ironside's
notification, but I guess rallying the team after the Adenhart tragedy
had to have figured largely.

He deserve it. After all he pull some strings to keep the team together in
the wake of the death of Adenhart & even beat the Red Sox in the ALDS for
the 1st time. Now we need to rework on beating the Yankees again in the
post-season.
