That all may be true. But you've thrown away your future to probably win a
division title (probably because I'm still hoping for a miracle). You
won't have Stottlemyre next year, nor will you have Tatis.
So, if you end up winning the division, it will be a Pyrrhic victory.

I can't speak for others, but the Rangers had to earn this one. I'll give
credit where credit is due and players like Tim Salmon, Jim Edmonds, Troy
Percival and Darin Erstad deserve their props. They can play on my team
anytime.

We'll have to wait and see on that one. Personally, I think the Rangers could
give the Yankees a run for their money the way they're playing right now.

hear any whining excuses either. A lot of Angels got injured
this year, but that's baseball. If the Rangers win the division,
it's because they had the better season. All the excuses in
the world won't change that.
