This means Scioscia MUST get to the playoffs next year, in my book. If the Angels fail again next year, I can't see Scioscia being there in 2014. No way.
Meanwhile, I hope against hope that Vern retires and tells the Angels to keep the rest of the money he was going to steal from them.
And: we need a better pen.
