Just heard on the news that 790 the score radio host Scott cordischi was
arrested this afternoon for picking up a woman who has a long history of
being a hooker, he was arraigned in district court and plead not guilty to
the charge.

Wow..I was wondering why he wasn't on this afternoon. I knew there was
something wrong. What a shame! The guy just got married recently. The guy
seemed to have the world by the gonads. Sheesh! Talk about screwing up!
"Scottie to Hottie" had better do a gut check and grow up! Hopefully this
doesn't ruin his career.

What a shame. Marv Albert II. This guy ought to grow up and maybe check himself
into AA.

I hope this isn't true. I hope that this is a mistake. His first
professional stop in his career was WHAV(AM) here in Haverhill, where he did a
spectacular job of covering local sports as well as discussion of national
sports.

IIRC, he wound up doing traffic on weekends on 'BZ, and I think he also was a
producer at WEEI. Surprisingly, he managed to stay in sports radio.

Because of the current consolidation frenzy in radio, and tendencies of small
AM stations to use brokered or bartered or network programming, or they go
ethnic (Hispanic, etc.) a lot of people who started in radio 10-12-15 years ago
are either out of the business, or are doing other things in radio -- reading
traffic reports or weather reports, for instance.

So I hope it's not true.

Well the marriage is something I could get into but won't in public it hits
close to home for my wife.

I'm sure this won't be good for scott's career considering he's just an
upstart on a small radio show. Marv Albert was able to resurrect his career
because he was on for so long before he got into trouble and still was off
the air for two whole years!

I wonder who they will get to move into that slot now? Gretsch? I miss his
mid morning show!

Well I guess that tell the whole story right there, the news channel I
watched didn't go into such detail. Bye Bye Scotty I can see you now in
east cow town somewhere in the Midwest doing the less nessman pig report
while thumping your chest acting like a helicopter!

How can anyone be so stupid? especially after just getting married? What a
scum bag!

Actually he is just recently married to a 2nd cousin to my wife, so to
answer two posts in one yes he is married and that's what it means to me!

The guy is a friggen scum bag, to do this #1 to a woman he just married #2
to do this in the broad daylight in downtown Providence(just screaming out
catch me).

Fire him now don't look back and be done with him forever!

Oh my god, in the town Buddy Ciancci is mayor of? Has the world gone all
topsy turvy?

Let's see providence in a different light:

1: Cool eateries in Federal Hill
2: The bonfires
3: The Arena
4: The cool mall (with Fire and Ice)
5; Bars so far apart you can work off calories waking from one to another
6: Stip joints where you can get a lap dance.

Actually it's the worlds most boring city, though you can grab a good bite
to eat,

Of course they are going to fire him. It's bad PR to keep him, plus I think he
may leave voluntarilly.

From what I've heard, he liked to tip a few too many. What a friggin' shame. I
really liked his show too. What an embarassment and a blow to his career. A
little mistake and the media gets a hold of it and you're all done. Alot of PR
work in radio and the station is definitely going to say bye bye to Scottie
because of this. But...he only has himself to blame.

I agree. He should be fired just for stupidity. The sister station Talk Radio
630AM was having a general discussion on how the media tabloids stuff like
this. They were getting alot of calls from people who normally call 790am. The
790am host, Brian Morey, had to make the statement that he wouldn't discuss the
issue and was only going to talk sports. How could they ever bring Scott back?
What a loser! Must be a sex addict. I feel bad for his poor wife. The ho that
was blowing Scott had to get an AIDS test according to the article in the PROJO
as part of standard procedure. What about Scott? How long has he been doing
this? Scum bag!

Nope. Not in the town Buddy Ciancci is mayor of. Nor the town Buddy
Cianccccci
is mayor of. Actually it was in East Providence, where they have no mayor.

We'll try to make the bars less than 50 feet apart to ease the strain on
your
fat butt.

The station is also embarrassed -- so they may have put a gag / dump button order
on their hosts.

From a legal standpoint, they can't effectively fire him until he's been convicted
or somehow responsibility for the action has been assigned..
