Instead of continuing to invest in 'once weres' and 'could helps' we should
go after a can't miss' like Aroldis Chapman who appears to be the future
Randy Johnson. Ir's rumored he's ready to sign for under $24M. A bid of that
number would be a reasonable investment to make.

Latest rumors on Chapman....

Angels and Blue Jays appear to be the leaders...around $21 million
over 3 yrs.

The Red Sox do not appear to have improved on their original offer of
$15.5 million over 3 yrs

The Marlins increased their offer from $13 Million but over 5 yrs (how
much is not known).....but are now saying they concede.

The Astros, Yankees and Mets have dropped out..

That would be a shocker.....not that the Yankees are actually still in
it .....but $30 million is huge for a 21 year old amature.

It appears as though Toronto is in the lead with an actual offer on
the table over $20 million (possibly $23M)

That's a lot of cash for a player who hasn't played at the MLB for one
second.

Remind you of anyone? Someone who got his team 100M for his rights only?

But then 100+ indicates a lot more potential than a "gyro" ball.
